The Department of Posts (DoP) has been the backbone of the country’s communication and has played a crucial role in the country’s socio-economic development from the last 15o years. The main functions are delivering mails, accepting deposits under Small Savings Schemes, providing life insurance cover under Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) and providing retail services like bill collection, sale of forms, etc.
The DoP also acts as an agent for Government of India in discharging other services for citizens such as Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) wage disbursement and old age pension payments.
Every year it will release the notification, and this year also it has released the notification to fill in the vacancies for the post of Multi-tasking staff and mail guard and also invited applications from all the eligible candidates.
In order to screen the candidates, it has conducted the written examination to those candidates who have applied for the posts on 27th September 2015 successfully across UP. Now it has released the official answer key of the written examination to facilitate the candidates to analyse their performance in the examination.
